Press Statement by Official Spokesperson of the STC on the onset of the twenty-eighth anniversary of the onslaught military invasion againt the South by the North on July 7, 1994,

we would to remind our official brothers and friends of the dictated obligations by the international charters, resolutions and religious laws that protectively bring triumph to the rights and freedom of peoples.

In light of this painful occasion, we salute our great southern people, who incessantly build up their struggles to turn that painful memory into a glorious launch of the liberating revolution (the Southern Peaceful Movement) leading to intensify their resistance that has accomplished liberating most of their lands and become strong to soar their cause under the national leadership represented by the Southern Transitional Council (STC), who is recently engaged in a political process through the partnership in a joint negotiating delegation, as an entitlement to our southern people on the path to fulfilling their national goals.
