The General Secretariat praises the success of the National Assembly second session held in Hadramout

Under the chairmanship of the Secretary-General of the Southern Transitional Council, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, the General Secretariat of the Southern Transitional Council held on Thursday its regular meeting.

The General Secretariat meeting revised the accomplishments reports and the activities of the Secretariat departments that are linked with the public society during the past week.

The meeting reviewed the follow-up of the Women and Children Department to the house of elderly and their gratitude for the role of the Transitional Council for their assistance and support.

The meeting also discussed the Cultural Department preparations for the artistic and cultural festival to be held in the province of Lahj, in addition to several other related topics.

The Secretary-General admired the success of the second session of the National Assembly held in Hadhramout, praising the great momentum that accompanied the event and the positive interaction of the people of Hadramout with the second session of the National Assembly and the accompanying events, which proved and emphasized that Hadhramout is the spirit of the South and its heart, as holding the second session of the National Assembly in the city of Mukalla, the capital of Hadramout, is the largest evidence of that.

The General Secretariat meeting also reviewed the political report presented by the Political Department, which dealt with the most important updates on local, regional and international scene.
