At the periodic meeting of the General Secretariat

Al-Jaadi refers to the national mission and the required efforts to serve the South

The General Secretariat of the Southern Transitional Council held its regular meeting today under the chairmanship of Fadhl Al-Jaadi, the acting secretary-general of the Southern Transitional Council, with the heads of the departments of the General Secretariat in order to evaluate the performance of the activities of the General Secretariat departments.

Al-Jaadi said at the meeting that the assessment of the implemented activities greatly helps in improving the performance of the departments to drive efforts to the right direction.

Al-Jaadi added that the responsibility is upon everyone as all should act as one body, in which the national mission requires more work and efforts to serve the cause and people of the south.

The meeting also discussed the reports of the heads of the departments on their activities during the past week and the level of achievements reached by them.

The meeting touched on a number of topics, such as the decision of the Presidency of the Council on providing branch office for the National Assembly and its headquarters, and the review of the letters of the Presidency of the Transitional Council to the General Secretariat, and following up the latest developments with the available options to deal with them.

The meeting stressed on the importance of enhancing the southern identity and its culture in the southern society, and focused on the current developments on the southern, Yemeni and regional arena.
