President of the Southern Transitional Council Meets the Red Cross

president of the Southern Transitional council, Aidros Qassem al-Zubaidi received in his office in Aden today the delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) that consists of the head of the ICRC delegation to Yemen, Antoin Grand, head of the ICRC Operations in the Middle East and North Africa, Robert Mardenly, haed of the Red Cross Office in Aden, Carlos Batif and haed of the Red Cross Office in Taiz, Stephany Eiler.

During meeting, president al-Zubaidi welcomed the delegation, paising their humanitarian and medical services in the Southern governorates.

The ICRC delegation briefed the president al-Zubaidi on the recent security deterioration in the governorate of Taiz which claimed the life of the Red Cross worker, Hana Lahoud in a coward terrorist operation while doing his humanitarian tasks.

President al-Zubaidi confirmed that the Security Belt and the Southern Elite Forces will work hard to secure and facilitate the work of the international organizations especially the International Committee of the Red Cross.
