The Statement of the third of October is a Roadmap to preserve interests of the South

The General Secretariat of the Southern Transitional Council held its regular meeting today under the chairmanship of Ahmed Hamid Lamles; the Secretary General of the Transitional Council, and in presence of Fadl al-Jaadi, member of the Transitional Council presidency, and heads of the departments in the General Secretariat.

The meeting stressed on the importance of the statement issued on the third of October to be considered as roadmap to preserve the interests of the south and as well the southern people in light of the disruption and the systematic looting of these interests.

The meeting reviewed the situation in Al-Mahra governorate as a result of (Luban) cyclone that strikes the province, stressing on the need to provide support and urgent assistance to those affected by the cyclone, and the need to send a relief convoy to help alleviating their suffering.

The meeting praised the role of the General Secretariat departments in this period of time in which the South is witnessing fierce attacks aimed at undermining its national project in freedom and independence.

In the meeting, the people of the South called on to continue their struggle to regain their rights, thanking the Southern people for their awareness for what the south is going through.
