President Al-Zubaidi Inaugurates the National Assembly and the Local STC Headquarters in Al-Mahra

    The president of the Southern Transitional Council Maj. Gen. Aidros Qasim Al-Zubaidi, inaugurated on Saturday 28th of October the National Assembly and the Local STC headquarters of Al Mahra governorate in a special ceremony held in Al-Ghayda city, in presence of the STC members and a large number of citizens who came from the different remote areas of the province,carrying the southern national flags, manifesting their support for the Southern Transitional Council with national slogans and chants.

At the opening ceremony, the president of the Southern Transitional Council Maj. Gen. Aidros Al-Zubaidi, delivered a speech in which he presented his greetings and said, 'This historic event that Al Mahra and all the Southern governorates  have been waited for, is a fruit of two and a half decades of southern peaceful liberation struggles and resistance which will lead to liberate all the South and to build all its institutions till we achieve  full independence of our homeland, state and identity'.

Al-Zubaidi said that the Southern Transitional Council wasn't outside the context of the great goals that the southern people struggle for during the past 23 years against the occupation and invasion, it's a southern national merit made by the  sacrifices of the martyrs of the revolution and the southern resistance, so from this context, we confirm that the Southern Transitional Council carries the project of establishing a sovereign southern state with an Arab identity having the rich diversity of the South, a new federal state that achieves justice in the distribution of power and wealth and the southern national partnership in decision making.

Al-Zubaidi directed his speech to the inhabitants of AlMahra pledging that the governorate will have all its rights in full partnership within the desired civil Federal State of the South , affirming that the new Federal South will end the marginalization and deprivation that AlMahra and the other regions suffer from, adding the the new South will preserve the cultural specificities of all the regions, particularly AlMahra Governorate.

Al-Zubaidi called on the Arab coalition countries to establish AlMahra Elite Forces and to provide training and rehabilitation to the youth, empowering them militarily to maintain security and to prevent any threat to the South and the region in general . We call on you to promote the tolerance and reconciliation values casting away all forms of division and conflict .
