Mr. Anis Al-Sharafi, Deputy Director of the STC’s Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Authority (FEAA), met on Sunday in his office in the capital, Aden, with Mr. Julien Harneis, UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen.
The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between the STC and the UN in humanitarian and development fields, as well as coordinating efforts to ensure assistance reaches intended beneficiaries and alleviate the suffering of residents amid the current conditions.
During the meeting, Mr. Al-Sharafi outlined key challenges, highlighting the impact of ongoing breaches committed by the Houthi terrorist militia at land crossings, as these actions have created additional burdens on humanitarian and economic conditions.
