The General Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held a special meeting today, Wednesday, in the capital, Aden, headed by Major General Kamal Hamshari, a member of the Presidium of the STC and Acting Secretary-General.
The meeting discussed the main and subsidiary directions that the central and local bodies of the STC will work on during the coming year 2025, which revolve around the principles and objectives of the Council, with a focus on effectively benefiting from the hard-won gains achieved in the previous period to fulfill the aspirations of the people of the South to restore their state.
The meeting touched on the mechanism for developing a work plan for the STC's bodies in line with objectives that keep pace with local and regional developments, contributing to meeting the needs of citizens and strengthening the Council's field work.
During the meeting, there was an exchange of ideas and opinions that would help overcome the challenges faced in the previous period, emphasizing the need to redouble efforts and enhance joint coordination and collaboration among the various departments of the General Secretariat, local leadership executive bodies (LLEBs), coordination bodies at universities, commissions, and authorities assisting the Presidium of the STC to ensure the effective implementation of the plan and the achievement of its goals.
