The Research and Decision Support Center (RDSC) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its third regular meeting for the month of September today, Monday, in the capital, Aden, headed by Mr. Lutfi Shatara, head of the RDSC.
The meeting reviewed the historic visit paid by President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC, Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), to the United States of America (USA), and his participation in the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA79).
The meeting underscored the significance of the President's address to the UN Security Council, which outlined a clear roadmap to confront current challenges. It also emphasized the need for international community support in efforts to achieve lasting and sustainable peace in the South, Yemen, and the region.
The meeting highlighted the pivotal role of President Al-Zubaidi in enhancing the political and diplomatic presence of the South and its just cause on the international stage, stressing the significance of his meetings with international and regional officials, as well as his engagement with the Southern community in the USA.
During the meeting, the latest political developments in the region were reviewed and focused on assessing their impact on the cause of the people of the South.
