STC Secretariat Discusses Workflow of Coordination Body at Abyan University and Lauds its Performance

Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Chairman of the National Assembly, met today, Monday, with the Governor of Lahj Governorate, Major General Ahmed Abdullah Al-Turki, and Mr. Wadah Al-Halimi, Head of the Local Leadership Executive Body (LLEB) of the STC in the Governorate.
In the meeting, attended by Brigadier General Ahmed Hassan, the head of the security department of the STC, Mr. Al-Kathiri was briefed by the Governor Al-Turki and Al-Halimi on the latest developments in the local and security situation in Lahj Governorate, as well as the workflow of the local authority and the LLEB in the governorate and its districts and the myriad of challenges and problems they face.
Mr. Al-Kathiri emphasized the importance of enhancing coordination, redoubling efforts, and fostering joint work between the local authority and the LLEB of the STC in Lahj Governorate. He also stressed the need to find out about the needs of citizens and resolve outstanding issues.
The Acting President reiterated the STC's leadership, led by President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, commitment to providing all aspects of support to the local authority in the governorate and easing any obstacles that may hinder its work to ensure the completion of its assigned tasks and to bring about a qualitative shift that is directly felt by residents of the governorate.
For his part, Governor Al-Turki expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the STC's attention given to Lahj Governorate and its ongoing commitment to being informed about its conditions and resolving the issues facing its people, affirming the local authority's readiness to redouble its efforts and coordination with the LLEB of the STC in the governorate to improve the governorate's situation and elevate it towards the best at all levels.
