The Southern National Dialogue Team (SNDT) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), during its regular meeting today, Thursday, in the capital Aden, chaired by Acting Team Head, Mr. Abdul Karim Ahmed Saeed, reiterated its commitment to continue communication and engagement with various political, partisan, and community forces and to strengthen Southern national unity.

The meeting discussed a range of topics related to the team's work during the coming period from June to December of this year (2024) and reviewed a set of tasks and plans aimed at strengthening Southern national cohesiveness and unifying efforts to face the challenges targeting the cause of the South.

The team underscored immediate solutions to the case of Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ashaal, stressing that this case is of public concern for all southerners and should not be politicized.

The SNDT commended the active participation and positive engagement of political and community forces in response to the initiative and call of the SNDT, particularly lauding their involvement in the political symposium held last Tuesday, emphasizing the importance of considering the remarks and suggestions that emerged from the symposium and following them up with the political leadership of the South.
