Al-Yafe'y Chairs Regular Meeting of NSMA


The National Southern Media Authority (NSMA) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting today, Sunday, headed by Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafe'y, deputy head of the NSMA.

The meeting reviewed the latest political developments in the South and the region in light of the challenges imposed by the Houthi militia and their continued recklessness in mobilizing on the borders of the South and in maritime piracy.

The meeting also stood before a range of issues of concern to citizens, including the file of deteriorating services, especially electricity, and how to formulate a sound media discourse calling for the fight against corruption and correcting imbalances in the field of public services.

The meeting, which was attended by Mr. Zaid Al-Jamal, Head of the Supreme Committee for National Events and Celebrations of the STC, discussed the main outlines of the media plan on the occasion of the seventh anniversary of May 4, as well as the media coverage of the anniversary of the liberation of the city of Almukalla from the remnants of terrorism.

The meeting finally touched on a range of topics and issues related to the work of the Southern media and took the appropriate measures in this regard.
