NSMA Deputy Head Receives British Sky News Delegation

Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafe'y, deputy head of the National Southern Media Authority (NSMA), of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), received on Thursday at NSMA's headquarters in the capital, Aden, the media team of the British Sky News television channel.

In the meeting, Mr. Al-Yafe'y welcomed the visiting media team, affirming that all facilities required will be provided to international media delegations to convey the true image of security and stability in the capital, Aden, and the governorates of the South.

Regarding the repercussions of the maritime piracy carried out by the Houthi terrorist militia, Al-Yafe'y confirmed that these terrorist acts utilize the events in Gaza as a pretext to continue their terrorist actions both on land and at sea. He pointed out that these reckless acts will inevitably hinder reviving the peace process, have harmed the food security of citizens, and will lead to famine if these terrorist acts of the Houthi militia continue further.

Al-Yafe'y highlighted classifying the Houthis as a terrorist group because they cannot live without war. At the same time, he called on the international community, especially the USA and UK, to work seriously to eliminate the arsenal of weapons and ballistic missiles that Iran has supplied to these terrorist militias and force them to comply with the aspirations of each one for peace and stability.

In turn, the media delegation of Sky News expressed their happiness with the warm reception and the facilities provided by NSMA to visiting media delegations, indicating that the team will follow up on the latest developments in the process of reviving peace in the country and the repercussions of the Houthi militia's maritime piracy in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab al-Mandeb Strait.
