The National Southern Media Authority (NSMA) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting today, Sunday, chaired by Mr. Salem Thabet Al-Awlaqi, head of NSMA, and the official spokesman of the STC.

NSMA stood before the political developments in the South in light of the changes on the national, regional, and international scene and the Houthi ongoing escalation through its continued maritime piracy, stressing the continuation of the media and political discourse against Houthi terrorism and its dangerous repercussions in the country and the entire region.

While reviewing the media plan of the Southern National Dialogue Team (SNDT), NSMA called for highlighting the importance of enhancing the reconciliatory approach, strengthening the home front in the South, and keeping pursuing the dialogue efforts.

Furthermore, NSMA lauded the efforts of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi and the government's moves to combat corruption and promote the principle of transparency, noting that the economic and service challenges still require much effort and adequate solutions to improve the service and living conditions of citizens.

The meeting touched on a range of media topics  and issues and took the appropriate measures regarding them.
