Mr. Abdul Rahman Abu Zara'a Al-Muharrami, Deputy President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), and Commander of the Southern Giants Brigades (SGB), has given directives to the commanders of the SGB to maintain the highest levels of combat readiness.
This came during an expanded meeting he chaired on Saturday in the capital, Aden, that included commanders of military units in the SGB, which he began by congratulating them on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan.
Al-Muharrami praised the steadfastness and valor of the officiers and members of the SGB, who have been fulfilling the most wonderful heroic epics on various frontlines, expressing his pride in the victories achieved by the SGB on the frontlines against the terrorist Houthi militia.
In the meeting, which was attended by commanders of divisions and brigades, Al-Muharrami was briefed on the field conditions of the SGB in the theater of military operations.
During the meeting, the level of military readiness of the units and combat axes of the SGB was assessed, and ways to raise the level of coordination between the various military units were discussed to enhance their military and operational capabilities.
Regarding the escalation of Houthi attacks and their continued mobilization on various frontlines, Al-Muharrami emphasized that the armed forces, led by the SGB, will not stand idly by in the face of the terrorist militia’s violations.
Al-Muharrami called on the commanders of the SGB to maintain the morale of the fighters and pay attention to their training and qualifying to continue building a force armed with science, knowledge, and high combat experience, noting the importance of the stage that the country is going through in light of the Houthis’ intransigence and their evasion and equivocation of the entitlements of the peace process.
At the end of the meeting, the leadership of the SGB expressed their thanks and gratitude to Abu Zara'a Al-Muharrami, Commander of the SGB, for his constant interest and follow-up and his keenness to ease the difficulties facing the forces to properly and effectively perform their tasks on various frontlines.
