STC Relief Commission Launches Project to Distribute Food Baskets to Families of Martyrs of the South

The Humanitarian Aid and Relief Commission (HARC), assisting the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), launched today, Thursday, a project to distribute food baskets to the families of martyrs in the governorates of the South, under the directives of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), and with the support of the brotherly United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Lawyer Niran Souqi, head of the HARC, indicated that the distribution of these baskets confirms the interest of the political leadership of the South in the families of the martyrs who sacrificed their precious souls for the sake of victory for the southern homeland, expressing her thanks and appreciation to President Al-Zubaidi and to the official brothers in the UAE for the true support of the people who are facing all kinds of systematic wars.

Lawyer Souqi explained that the total number of food baskets this year amounted to about 23,500, which will be distributed in the capital, Aden, and the rest of the governorates of the South, affirming that they will be delivered to the well-deserved and rightful families.

During the inauguration event, convoys departed for the governorates of Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramaut, Almahra, and Al-Dhalea, followed by the launch of the distribution of food baskets to the families of the martyrs in the districts of the capital, Aden.
