STC Negotiations Affairs Unit Holds Meeting with the Panel on Upcoming Political Process
Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji, Head of the Auxiliary Political Commission and Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), chaired on Sunday a special meeting with the team concerned with the upcoming political process in preparing and engaging with the files related to the negotiations.
The meeting discussed the latest developments in the political situation and efforts related to the peace process, the requirements and arrangements of the negotiating process at this critical stage, as well as the ongoing preparations for processing the files related to the announced road map in the political, economic, and humanitarian aspects.
The meeting pointed out that achieving peace in the region is contingent on a just solution to the cause of the people of the South, which is the first pivotal issue in the proposed UN auspice political process and a key pillar of efforts to durably end the war and bring about a lasting peace to the country and the region.
