Major General Ben Brik Discusses Political and Military Situation in Mukairas District
Major General Ahmed Saeed ben Brik, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Chairman of the National Assembly, met today, Tuesday, with Mr. Mohammad Hussein Abdullah Al-Bujairi, Director General of Mukairas District.
In the meeting, the political and military developments in the South, in general, and the district, in particular, were discussed, in addition to the deteriorating situation, which is getting worse and exacerbating the suffering of citizens. The meeting also touched on ways to resolve certain pending issues.
Major General Bin Brik highlighted the importance of cohesiveness and preserving social fabric not only in Mukairas district but also in the whole of Abyan governorate and coalescing around the leadership of the STC, represented by President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC, commending the role of the people of Mukairas and the southern resistance in the face of Houthi expansion on all fronts, including Al-Muhalhal and Thura Mountain, and to confront the Houthi crowds that are trying to achieve even a lightning offensive to improve their negotiating position in the next stage, but how impossible it is to be able to do that.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Mohammad Ahmed Al-Bujairi and Sheikh Ahmed Mohammad Abdullah Al-Jaafi.
