The Crisis Cell of the General Secretariat stands before set of issues related to citizens in the South

The Crisis Cell in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held on Thursday, its weekly meeting chaired by Dr. Khaled Bamdhaf, head of the cell.

The meeting stood in front of a set of issues and problems related to the conditions of southern society at various political, economic, social, security and other levels, foremost of which is the Corona pandemic, and the announcement of the formation of the power-sharing government and its return to work in accordance with the mechanisms of the Riyadh Agreement.

The cell discussed the problem of the influx of displaced people to the southern regions, especially to the capital, Aden, despite the cessation of the war in the regions and cities of Yemen's governorates, and considered this displacement as aims to create new crises and problems in the south.

In its meeting, the cell also addressed the problems of high prices of goods and stagnant water as a result of rainfalls and its environmental and health disasters it caused.

The cell praised the efforts made by the Transitional Council, represented by President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Transitional Council and the negotiating delegation, and the continuous meetings with ambassadors of a number of permanent members of the Security Council.

It also commended the efforts of Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, the Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Governor of the capital Aden, in normalizing life in the capital, Aden, and improving services and restoring life to the capital.
