Transitional Council Foreign Affairs addresses US government and International Organizations to provide urgent assistance to tackle Corona pandemic

The Director of the Office of Foreign Affairs for the Southern Transitional Council in the United States addressed Mr. Mark Green, Director of the United States Agency for International Development, Dr. Alma Golden, Assistant Director of the USAID Office of Public Health, and Mr. David Schenker, Deputy Assistant, US Secretary of State, in a message called on behalf of the Southern Transitional Council to get the support of the United States Agency for International Development, the World Health Organization, and the United Nations to increase humanitarian and medical support in response to the emerging Corona pandemic.

The Foreign Affairs Office called on the international parties to take a number of urgent measures to support the health and food infrastructure of civilians in southern governorates in Yemen to avoid the spread of the Corona virus, which will have huge consequences for civilians in the southern cities that have suffered for years and are still due to the war in which millions take it refuge for them, with the Southern Transitional Council pledged to facilitate the transfer of aid and support to health structures in the cities of south Yemen.
