Major General Ben Brik gets briefed on activities of southern community in Norway

Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the National Assembly, met on Wednesday, at the National Assembly’s headquarters in the capital Aden, the political activist Ibrahim Bajaba, head of the Southern Citizens Community in the Kingdom of Norway.

The meeting touched on the activities of the community in the Kingdom of Norway, which started since 2008, as well as the importance of delivering the file of the southern issue to all authorities in the Kingdom of Norway, and discussing the general conditions and the suffering of the people of the south by injustice, marginalization, and exclusion in all areas under successive governments.

The Chairman of the National Assembly praised the distinguished role and activity played by the community in the Kingdom of Norway, headed by Ibrahim Bajaba, to introduce the southern cause and the suffering of the people of the south.

Major General Bin Brik praised the role of the southern community in reuniting the southerners in the Kingdom of Norway, spreading the spirit of condensation and synergy and supporting their cause on the path of restoring the southern state, stressing on the willingness of the Southern Transitional Council to support such activities.

For his part, Ibrahim Bajaba expressed his happiness with this meeting, thanking Major General Bin Brik for his eagerness to listen to the community's activities in Norway and the unlimited interest in supporting various national activities and events organized by the southern communities abroad.
