Hani Ben Berek Visits the Wounded in the "Torrent Floods" Operation

Sheikh Hani Ben Berek vice president of the Southern Transitional Council, this morning  paid a visit to the wounded  soldiers from the Storm battalion lead by the hero Munif Al Zubaidi . The wounded soldiers ,who are receiving medical treatment  following injuries they received due to a road side terrorist attack while they were in Gahaff districk in Abyan governorate,were  in an operation called the ‘Torrent Floods’ .

The Vice President, was reassured on the health status of  the wounded soldiers from the medical staff and he pressed on them to pay special  attention to our loyal fighters who sacrifice their lives on the path of freedom and the security of the  homeland and the people  of the great South.

For their part the wounded were  grateful for this gesture of humanity, stressing that such actions will not deter them from performing their mission to defend the  national security and  the safety of the South.

It is worth mentioning  that a  number of troops who were participating from the ‘Storm Battalion’ in the "Torrent Floods " Operation were ambushed in Al mahfad district near Aalkalita ,claimed the life of a soldier and wounding three others.
