Shatara Reviews the Experience of the Southern Transitional Council with an International French Expert


  Member of Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council - Head of the Information Department Lutfi Shatara met in Paris on Wednesday evening with the professor of International Law and Constitutions at Paris University François Vernouch.

  During the meeting, the two men shared a long conversation together on the future of the South under the political benefits in any future negotiations.

  Lutfi Shatara presented a detailed explanation about the pioneer experience of the Southern Transition Council and the steps taken so far by the Council since the declaration of the unified southern political leadership which represents all the South, touching on the expansion of the council by building its institutions in the provinces and the announcement of the National Assembly.

  The French international expert said that the Southerners have a historic opportunity, especially after being united under one leadership, adding that unifying the southern voice with a clear political vision that achieves the interests of all the regional and international parties will support attaining the political will regarding the cause of the South and its people.
