For Third Day Sessions In A Row, Consultative Meeting of Southern Components Continues in the Capital, Aden

The consultative meeting of the southern political components, parties, and civil society organizations is continuing for the third consecutive day to hold its sessions in the capital, Aden, under the patronage of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC).

At the opening session of today's consultative meeting, which is being held under the slogan "For a New South that embodies the aspirations of the people of the South for independence and the restoration of the independent, federal state of the South," papers related to the work of the formed committees were thoroughly discussed.

The drafting committees of the Southern National Pact have received many remarks and suggestions made by the delegates, which included visions from the political components of the process of building the state of the South and the foundations and principles of the negotiation process.

During the meeting, the delegates of the political components from the various governorates of the South presented a set of interventions that highly enriched the meeting, and at the end of the session, a separate meeting of each dedicated committee was held to study the preparation, reformulation, and drafting of the documents after taking into account the raised remarks and suggestions by the delegates.
