President Al-Zubaidi Reviews Workflow and Future Plans of Land Authority

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), reviewed on Wednesday the workflow at the General Authority for Land, Survey, and Urban Planning that took place during his meeting with Eng. Mohammed Nasser Abbadi, chairman of the authority.

During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi received an explanation from Eng. Abbadi on the authority's plans and programs for the upcoming year 2026, including ongoing efforts to inventory government-owned lands and properties, measures to prevent encroachments, and the steps taken regarding lands allocated for investment purposes.

President Al-Zubaidi stressed the necessity of finalizing this file as soon as possible and directed the authority to follow up on reclaiming lands from entities and individuals who were granted them for investment purposes but have not committed to implementing their projects. His Excellency emphasized the importance of sound management of the government's real estate assets to enhance the investment environment and advance development.

For his part, the chairman of the authority expressed his gratitude to President Al-Zubaidi for the confidence placed in him, considering his appointment a duty, not an honor, and affirmed that he will spare no effort in developing the authority's work and activating its branches in the governorates to carry out their tasks in safeguarding public lands and properties.
