The STC Strongly Condemns Terrorist Attack Targeting Tourists in Kashmir

The Southern Transitional Council (STC) strongly condemns the cowardly terrorist attack that targeted a group of innocent tourists in the Pahalgam region of Kashmir in the friendly Republic of India, resulting in dozens of civilian casualties and injuries.

This heinous terrorist attack, which targeted the lives of innocent civilians, reveals the true face of evil and terrorism and shows no respect for the sanctity of human life and spares no race, religion, or nationality. Indeed, it constitutes a flagrant violation of all human values and international laws.

The STC unequivocally expresses its full solidarity with the friendly Republic of India—its government and people—in the wake of this grave tragedy and extends its deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery for all the injured.

The STC further reiterates its firm and unwavering stance in rejecting and condemning all acts of terrorism and extremism and urges bolstered international cooperation to combat this dangerous scourge, from which our people have been suffering, like many other countries around the world.
