Mr. Salem Thabet Al-Awlaqi, head of the National Southern Media Authority (NSMA), assisting the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and the official spokesman of the STC, has met today, Sunday, in his office in the capital, Aden, with Mr. Mohammed Aysh, director of Al-Jamhuriya TV channel.
The meeting focused on exchanging views on a range of topics related to coordination and joint cooperation, including the channel's programming projects and facilitating the technical and administrative procedures for implementing these programs.
Mr. Al-Awlaqi has highlighted that the capital, Aden, is open to all initiatives that facilitate art, film, and drama production entrepreneurs operating in the city. This, he said, will contribute to boosting media, cultural, and artistic activities, attracting national investment in film and drama, and streamlining the framework for these companies as per the regulations, rules, and 14th circulars regulating their work.
Al-Awlaqi has stressed that organizing media work in the capital, Aden, aims to facilitate the tasks of operating media outlets and ensure that no breaches occur, particularly those by the Houthis, which target security, stability, and national awareness for the sake of their oppressive and sectarian projects.
For his part, the director of Al-Jamhuriya TV Channel affirmed the importance of joint coordination between NSMA and the channel to promote culture, arts, and creativity, as well as for promoting media cooperation with a unified media front against the Houthi militia and their destructive agenda.
