President Al-Zubaidi Assures Support for Efforts of Yemenia Airways to Relocate Remaining Departments to the Capital, Aden

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), reaffirmed his unwavering support for the Board of Directors of Yemenia Airways and its efforts to relocate the remaining departments from Sana'a to the headquarters of the company in the capital, Aden.

This came during his meeting today, Sunday evening, with the Commercial Director of Yemenia Airways, Mr. Mohsen Ali Haidara, who briefed his excellency on the progress in implementing the directives to urgently transfer its revenues to its bank accounts in the capital, Aden, or abroad, in accordance with the directives of the PLC and the recent decisions of the Central Bank.

The President stressed the importance of expediting the procedures for moving the remaining departments of the company to the capital, Aden, and depositing all its revenues into its bank accounts in approved banks in Aden to keep them out of the control of the Houthi militia so that the company can meet its operational expenses, develop and modernize its fleet, and open new routes and destinations from Aden International Airport to more domestic and international airports.
