President Al-Zubaidi Meets with Son of General Mahmoud Al-Sobeihi

President Aidarous Qasim Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), met with Abdullah Mahmoud Al-Sobeihi, the son of the former Defense Minister General Mahmoud Al-Sobeihi, in his office yesterday evening.

 During the meeting  that was attended by Mr. Wadah Omar Al-Sobeihi, the commander of the Security Belt forces in Al-Sobeihah, President Al-Zubaidi was briefed on the arrangements for receiving General Mahmoud Al-Sobeihi and his companions who are expected to be released as part of a prisoner exchange deal between the government and Houthi militias on the 20th of Ramadan.

 President Al-Zubaidi confirmed that the STC is ready to provide all necessary requirements to receive General Al-Sobeihi in a manner that matches his military and uncompromising struggle. 

For his part, Mr. Abdullah Mahmoud Al-Sobeihi expressed his gratitude for President Al-Zubaidi's efforts in successfully concluding the prisoner exchange deal that included his father and a large group of prisoners from the Southern Armed Forces.
