President Al-Zubaidi offers condolences to Ambassador of Kuwait - Sheikh Ali bin Khaled Al-Sabah on death of Emir of Kuwait

President Aidaroos Qassem Abdulaziz Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, and his accompanying delegation visited the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in the Saudi capital Riyadh to offer condolences on the death of the late Prince Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, in which they were received by His Excellency Ambassador Sheikh Ali bin Khalid Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi conveyed the condolences of the southern people to the leadership and people of Kuwait, over the late Emir, may Allah have mercy on him, indicating that his death represented a great loss not only for Kuwait, but for all the peoples of the region and the Arab and Islamic nations, with what he was known of good qualities and historical positions that he embodied in various stages, as Kuwait has been an important political station for leading peace efforts in Yemen and the South for more than five decades, stressing that he, may Allah have mercy on him, was a man of wisdom and a first-class political leader, and that his career is honorable, proud and worthy of study.

During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi spoke that His Highness Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah is the best successor to the best predecessor, hoping for him success in leading the process of development, construction and development in the sisterly State of Kuwait.

For his part, Ambassador Sheikh Ali bin Khalid Al-Jaber Al-Sabah thanked the President of the Southern Transitional Council and his accompanying delegation, hoping that the efforts to implement the Riyadh Agreement would be successful.
