The Transitional Council affirms its stand with Egypt in its war against terrorism

The Southern Transitional Council expresses its full solidarity with the leadership and people of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and its support in its war against regionally funded terrorist organizations to target its national security, expressing its absolute rejection of all forms of extremism, and any actions that would destabilize security and create chaos in our societies.

The Southern Transitional Council expresses its regret for the events that occurred in Egypt on Tuesday evening, and extends its sincere condolences and sympathy to the Egyptian people for the martyrdom of one of its valiant officers in a cowardly terrorist operation while carrying out his national duty.

We stress on the necessity of joining Arab and international efforts to eradicate this extremist criminal brotherhood thought and provide adequate support to be confront ed and eliminated from its roots.
