Under the chairmanship of the president of the Southern Transitional Council, Major General Aidroos al-Zubaidi, the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held today its regular meeting at the council's headquarters in the capital Aden, in presence of the head of the STC local leadership of Hadramout governorate and members of the executive body in the province.
The meeting discussed a number of topics listed on its agenda, in particular, reinforcing the STC political and administrative role in Hadramout governorate.
The meeting also touched on the organizational aspects of the council and completing the proclamation of the local leaderships in the districts.
The members of the the STC Presidency discussed the role of the Council in the relief and humanitarian fields in addition to the latest local developments especially the return of the members of Ben Dagher's corrupt government amid widespread popular anger. The STC Presidency was surprised from the insistence of President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi to not replace the government that is not acceptable to the people.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the STC Presidency sent its greetings to Hadramout elite forces represented by its Commander Major General Faraj Salmeen Al-Bassani Governor of Hadramout Province and Commander of the Second Military Region and to all the inhabitants of Hadramout on the second anniversary of the liberation of al-Mukalla city and all the coastal districts from the forces of evil and terrorism.
The STC Presidency expressed its full support to Hadramout elite forces in its ongoing military campaign against terrorist organizations in all over the province.
