The President of the Southern Transitional Council Meets the People of Batis

 
  The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Aidros Al-Zubaidi, highly praised the role played by the people of Batis throughout the history of struggle for the South and their active contribution to the establishment of the Southern Movement(Hirak)and to the events of reconciliation and tolerance organized all over the country .

During his meeting in Aden with high-profile social figures and dignitaries of Batis region, in presence of the member of the STC Presidency Nasser Saadi, Al-Zubaidi confirmed that the Southern Transitional Council is the backbone of the inhabitants of Batis and of all the people of the South to restore their state and build their institutions .

For their side the inhabitants of Batis expressed their interest in giving it the position it deserves for its geographic specificity , its agricultural and industrial nature and for its role in all the phases of struggle for the southern cause since its peaceful start in 2007 , reminding that Batis offered the lives of 180 people for the South .
