The Women and Children Administration of the Local Leadership Executive Body (LLEB) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) in the district of Al Wadi'a, Abyan Governorate, organized today, Wednesday, a consultative meeting with a number of female activists in the district, in the presence of Mr. Ahmed Mansour, the head of the LLEB in the district.
During the meeting, Mr. Mansour stressed the importance of holding these meetings with female activists in the district to strengthen the southern identity and the importance of their role in preserving the social fabric of the South.
In turn, Ms. Aasia Al Habshi, head of the Women and Children Administration, referred to the role of women in society and the importance of giving them top priority in education and encouraging them to pursue their academic education until they reach the highest levels.
The meeting discussed the pivotal role of Southern women in raising generations, nurturing a strong sense of Southern identity, and fostering a spirit of unrelenting struggle among generations to enroot the values and goals of the Southern Revolution.
