President Al-Zubaidi Underlines Role of SNACC in Protecting Public Money

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (LPC), met on Thursday evening with Judge Afrah Badwilan, head of the Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption (SNACC).

During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi listened to a detailed explanation from Judge Badwilan on the workflow of the SNACC, the number of cases that the authority is investigating in various sectors of the state, and the cases that have been submitted to the Attorney General for his consideration.

The president emphasized the important role of SNACC in protecting public money, controlling administrative imbalances in state institutions, and preserving its assets and resources.

The president highlighted that the SNACC has to exercise its entrusted tasks in full independence, asserting his support for the headship of the authority and his readiness to overcome any obstacles that may impede its workflow in order to ensure performing its tasks and jurisdictions as per the law in full independence, transparency, and impartiality.
