STC comments on the statement issued by the European Union

We, in the Southern Transitional Council (STC), followed the statement issued by the Council of the European Union (EU) on Monday, December 12, 2022. Therefore, the STC confirms that the reference to the STC in the statement regarding the unity of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) was in a negative, inappropriate, and disappointing context.

The STC expresses its rejection of any statements or insinuations that cause harm to the cohesion of the PLC and breach the partnership that resulted from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) consultations and stresses the need to respect the national and political issues on which the partnership was based, at the forefront of which is the cause of the people of the South and their right to independence.
