President Al-Zubaidi Briefed on Latest Developments in Military and Humanitarian situation in Al-Bayda Governorate

The President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), the Deputy of Presidential Leadership Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, at his residence in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Saturday evening, received Sheikh Naser Al-Khidr Al-Sawadi, governor of Al-Bayda Governorate.

During the meeting, the president Al-Zubaidi was briefed by the Governor Al-Sawadi on the latest developments in the military and humanitarian situation in Al-Bayda, in light of the Houthi aggression on the governorate, stressed the importance of concerted popular and official efforts to support the confronting frontlines in the governorate.

The president affirmed that the STC and the Southern Armed Forces are ready to support the popular resistance in Al-Bayda Governorate to confront the Houthi militias unless they return to peace.

In turn, Governor Al-Sawadi congratulated the president Al-Zubaidi on the formation of the Presidential Leadership Council and the success of Riyadh consultations, he also expressed his thanks and gratitude to the president Al-Zubaidi on his fraternal attitudes in assisting citizens of Al-Baida, affirming that Al-Baida and its tribes stand with the Presidential Leadership Council and support its national efforts to get the country out of its ordeal, as well as they stand ready to perform the assigned tasks at various levels.
