Announcement of Southern Transition Council leadership in Al-Sheher

In presence of a number of the leaders and members of the southern peace movement, social figures, cadres, representatives of the civil society organizations, and independents, a meeting to announce the local leadership of the Southern Transition Council (STC) in Al-Sheher district of Hadramout was held at the headquarter of the Fishermen's Association.

The meeting headed by Anwar Al-Tamimi – Deputy of Southern Transition Council in Hadramout province, and Mohammed Saleh Al-Fardi – Head of STC in Al-Sheher district, and Abdularhman Bamatraf – Head Deputy of STC in Al-Sheher. The meeting started with reciting verses from the Holy Quran, then greeting stand for the southern national anthem. The head of STC in Al-Sheher, Mohammed Al-Fardi delivered a speech presenting the resolution of Major General\ Eidaroos Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transition Council (STC), to form STC branch leadership in the district with 51 members, and heads of boards. After that Anwar Al-Tamimi presented the stages that STC passed through to reach this historical moment for the political aspect of the South cause. The political vision project of the Southern Transition Council was presented to be discussed and approved.

The meeting was attended by members of the Southern National Society, including Hassen Basameer, and Omar Kharis, Anwar Al-Sokoti, in addition to a number of the STC members in the province.
