The Cultural Department Organizes Anti-Regionalism Workshop
The Cultural Department of the Southern Transitional Council organized today in Aden a workshop entitled " Reconciliation and Tolerance are the Base for Southern National Coalescence ", attended by 40 civil society activists, jurists and intellectuals from different districts of Aden.
Head of the STC Cultural Department, Dr. Mona Bashraheel said that the workshop starts in coincidence with the approaching of the Southern Reconciliation and Tolerance anniversary on 13 January .
"The workshop aims at bringing the participants' views closer to each other as well as raising awareness of the necessity and importance of being united under the banner of the South" she said.
The workshop program contains discussion panels taking the form of groups delving into the ways to confront regionalism and promote national belonging.
