President Al-Zubaidi: Reviving Economy and Improving services is Top priority

The President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), the Deputy of Presidential Leadership Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, at his residence in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Sunday evening, received the prime minister, Dr. Maeen Abdul Malik Saeed.

During the meeting, the president Al-Zubaidi was briefed by the Prime Minister on the latest developments in the humanitarian and economic situation in the capital, Aden, and the liberated governorates, in light of the economic crisis that our country is experiencing due to the war.

The president Al-Zubaidi stressed on importance of reviving the economy, improving services and developing urgent solutions to stop accelerating collapse of the currency, noting that it is an urgent priority on the table of the leadership of the new Presidential Leadership Council, and the government, as well as everyone must assume the responsibilities to implement real and tangible reforms to urgently alleviate the sufgering of people.

The President assured that attention should also be paid to the capital, Aden, as it is the country's capital and window to the region and the world, pointing out that it requires making the utmost efforts to improve services and launch reconstruction in line with the role it will play in the upcoming days.

The president discussed with the prime minister, ways and mechanisms of finding ultimate solutions to the electricity crisis in the liberated governorates; foremost of which is the capital, Aden and Hadhramaut.

For his part, the Prime Minister offered congratulations to the  president Al-Zubaidi on the formation of the Presidential Leadership Council and the success of Riyadh consultations, reiterating the government's readiness to accomplish all assigned executive tasks that will be given by the leadership of the Council.
