The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Envoy of the Russian President to the Middle East and African Countries, Mikhail Bogdanov, received on Monday, in his office at the Russian Foreign Ministry in the capital, Moscow, Dr. Ali Al-Zamki, Head of the Office of the General department of Foreign Affairs of the Southern Transitional Council in Russia and the independent countries.
In the meeting, Dr. Ali Al-Zamki conveyed to Mr. Bogdanov a special oral message from the President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, related to the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement and its acceleration mechanism, and his appreciation for the efforts made by the Russian Federation in establishing security and peace in the southern political arena, Yemen, and the Arab region in general.
Dr. Al-Zamki also discussed with Bogdanov the tragic file that the southern regions are experiencing, especially the deterioration of services and the collapse of the local currency, in addition to the mechanism procedures to accelerate the implementation of the agreement to reach the formation of the equitable government to alleviate the suffering of the citizens.
Al-Zamki confirmed to the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, the commitment of the Transitional Council, under the leadership of President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, to implement all the contents of the Riyadh Agreement without selectivity, and according to the timeline stipulated in the terms of the agreement.
Al-Zamki conveyed to the Russian official the deep gratitude of the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council for the role that the Russian Federation plays in combating terrorism and bringing peace to Yemen and the region.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Mikhail Bogdanov expressed his thanks to Al-Zamki for his visit, and charged him with conveying his sincere greetings to President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi.
