The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the South Armed Forces, President Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi received on Saturday at his residence in the Saudi capital of Riyadh, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Yemen, Mr. Kang Yong, and his accompanying delegation.

President Al-Zubaidi reviewed with the Chinese Ambassador the history of Sino-South cooperation, stressing on the need for work and peace instead of war and destruction, assuring the readiness of the Southern Transitional Council to deal positively with the UN efforts to guarantee the southerners their right to participate fully in representing their cause and determine their fate. .
Al-Zubaidi pointed out to the position of the Southern Transitional Council to support the Arab coalition countries, and to stand with them to fight the Iranian expansion of the Houthi militias, as well as combating terrorism.
President Al-Zubaidi praised the efforts of the People's Republic of China in supporting the development of our country, and the role that the South aspires to play in the Silk Road Project, outlining the Southern Transitional Council's economic vision to the economic and investment opportunities in the South.
For his part, the Chinese Ambassador expressed his delight for this meeting, appreciating the position of the Southern Transitional Council towards peace in its response to the dialogue sponsored by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stressing on his country's support for a comprehensive peace process that guarantees the end of the war and the return of peace to our country.
