The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, met on Wednesday with the leadership of the executive office and members of the Syndicate of Engineers and the Professional Syndicates of the South.
In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi discussed the mechanism of activating the union work of the southern engineers and ways of preserving the industrial and economic institutions, and conducting extensive dialogue to create real participation of different professions sectors in this process.
President Al-Zubaidi also discussed mechanisms to support projects that improve the southern economy and contributing actively in infrastructure projects and plans for the modernization and development of the services to the southern citizens.
The President of the Transitional Council praised the efforts exerted by the Federation of Engineers in all governorates of the south, noting that they represent the most important segment of the process of development, construction and reconstruction, stressing that the Transitional Council extends its hands to anyone who has a desire to build the south.
The participants presented ideas and interventions that reflected the challenges facing the South such as the administrative corruption and the necessity to find a settlement for the status of engineers.
The meeting reviewed many social and professional problems that can be resolved through integrated procedures including replacing officials at the departments of the institutions with qualified cadres who have the ambition, hope, and seriousness to work.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Nasser Al-Khubji, and Eng. Adnan Al-Kaff, members of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, and Dr. Abdul Nasser Al-Wali, Head of the Local Leadership of the Transitional Council in Aden the capital.
