President Al-Zubaidi Highlights Role of Endowments Ministry in Safeguarding Society and Promoting Culture of Tolerance and Moderation

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met today, Wednesday, with the Deputy Minister of Endowments and Guidance, Mr. Anwar Al-Amri.

President Al-Zubaidi was briefed by the Deputy Minister on the workflow within the ministry, the accomplishments achieved across various sectors over the past period, and the ministry's role in rationalising religious discourse and promoting a culture of moderation.

During the meeting, the President emphasised the crucial role of the Ministry of Endowments in fortifying society, disseminating a culture of tolerance, solidarity, and social cohesiveness, enhancing social peace, and rejecting phenomena alien to our people and their values, and called for mobilising and directing efforts to serve our people and their national cause.

For his part, Deputy Minister Anwar Al-Amri expressed his gratitude and appreciation for President Al-Zubaidi's stances towards the ministry's leadership and his constant keenness to ease difficulties facing workflow, and affirmed the ministry's would
tirelessly continue carrying out its duties and strengthening its role in spreading the values of moderation and tolerance, contributing to the consolidation of social peace.
