President Al-Zubaidi Engages in Series of Bilateral Meetings Between PLC Delegation and Heads of Delegations Attending UN General Assembly
President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), took part in a series of bilateral meetings held by the PLC delegation, headed by PLC Chairman Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, on the sidelines of its participation in the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City.
The series of meetings included H.E. President Ahmed Al-Share'a of the Syrian Arab Republic, H.E. Edgars Rinkēvičs, President of the Republic of Latvia, and Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic.
The meetings reviewed the latest developments in Yemen, particularly the political, security, and economic developments, alongside the challenges facing the country amidst the ongoing attacks by the Houthi militias targeting commercial vessels in the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
The meetings also highlighted the importance of coordinating joint efforts regarding regional and international security issues, contributing to achieving stability in Yemen and the wider region.
