STC Secretariat Discusses Staff Discipline and Departmental Performance Report


The General Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its regular meeting today, Sunday, in the capital, Aden, chaired by Major General Kamal Hamshari, a member of the Presidium of the STC and Acting Secretary-General.

The meeting discussed the mechanism for updating school curricula for students in the governorates of the South to enhance the Southern national identity and purify it from extremist ideas among students in schools.

The meeting also reviewed the organizational report on improving and developing the performance of departments of the Secretariat for the second quarter of the current year, 2024. In this context, the meeting resulted in the adoption of specific measures and recommendations aimed at strengthening field work and boosting the overall organizational performance of the STC.

Furthermore, the meeting touched on a report on the level of work discipline for the Secretariat staff during the second week of July, submitted by the Financial and Administrative Department, which showed a high level of commitment, improved workflow, and enhanced performance efficiency.

At the end of its meeting, the Secretariat reviewed the weekly activity report of its departments, in addition to approving the minutes of the previous meeting, after incorporating the remarks raised.
