The meeting was dedicated to reviewing the latest developments in the capital, Aden, foremost of which were the latest developments related to the case of the abducted Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ashaal Al-Jaadani, in addition to discussing ways to find a mechanism for integration and coordination between the members of the STC's Presidium and the LLEB of the STC in the capital, Aden, and its districts, to support the efforts of the local authority and security services in the capital to improve living conditions and maintain public tranquility for citizens.
During the meeting, which was attended by Mr. Issam Abdo Ali, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly, Mr. Ahmed Al-Rubaizi, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Advisors, Brigadier General Ahmed Hassan, Head of the Security Department of the STC, and a number of heads of departments of the Secretariat, Mr. Al-Kathiri reiterated the STC's firm position in standing with the family of Lieutenant Colonel Ashaal and full solidarity with them, praising in this context the high level of awareness shown by the family and the national responsibility assumed by al-Jaadani tribe regarding the issue, and missing the opportunity for the hostile forces that are trying to divert the course of the issue and exploit it to strike the southern social fabric and target the security system.
Al-Kathiri noted that the case is proceeding within its criminal scope, as the security services and judicial authorities are making great efforts to collect the evidence and clues related to it, uncover the fate of Al-Jaadani, arrest the accused and those involved, and refer them to the competent courts to receive their deterrent punishment, regardless of their status.
The Acting President of the STC drew attention to the fact that the South in general and the capital, Aden, in particular, are going through an important and sensitive juncture, which necessitates that everyone unite their efforts and share in assuming responsibility to preserve the gains that have been achieved and confront the
malicious conspiracies and evil schemes hatched by the hostile forces to target the South and the cause of its people.
