The Administrative Body of the Council of Advisors (CoA) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its inaugural meeting today, Sunday, in the capital, Aden, chaired by Mr. Ahmed Al-Rabizi, Deputy Chairman of the CoA.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Al-Rabizi welcomed the heads of the permanent committees in the Council, congratulating all the attendees on gaining the trust of the leadership, and wishing them all the best in carrying out their new and great national tasks.
Al-Rabizi emphasized the significance of this meeting, being the first gathering of the permanent advisory committees since their formation was decreed, highlighting that it marks the true commencement of the work of the Council of Advisors and the fulfillment of its assigned national duties and responsibilities.
The meeting discussed a range of crucial topics pertaining to the work of the committees, particularly in terms of the administrative and organizational aspects and their working mechanisms, as well as the plans and programs that will be worked on during the upcoming stage, in addition to reviewing the overall situation in the southern arena and the most prominent economic and service developments.
The Administrative Body stood before the call of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi to convene the second session of the National Assembly in Shabwa Governorate on June 30th of this month, highlighting the importance of this political event at this stage and the sensitive and difficult political circumstances that the South is going through.
At the end of its meeting, the body praised the courageous decisions taken by the Central Bank in the capital, Aden, as well as the decisions issued by certain ministries regarding the relocation of the headquarters of organizations and offices of telecommunications companies to the capital, commending the active moves of the leadership of the STC and the positive steps and important matrix of procedures taken to lift the country out of the dire situation it has reached.
