President Al-Zubaidi Condemns Systematic Crimes Committed by Houthi Militias Against People of Tihama

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), reiterated his condemnation of the crimes, violations, systemic killings, and racist practices of the Houthi militias against the people of Tihama.

This came during his meeting on Saturday with the leader of the Tihama resistance and movement, Sheikh Abdul-Rahman Hajri, who briefed him on the latest developments in the humanitarian situation in the Tihama areas and the role of the Tihama resistance in securing the liberated districts on the western coast.

President Al-Zubaidi called on the international community and human rights organizations to stand against these militias and their ongoing brutal violations against the people of Tihama and urged them to defend the kidnapped people who are being taken to execution squares, coerced to join militias, and subjected to systematic physical liquidation under false charges.

The President reaffirmed his support for the struggles of the people of Tihama and their right to live in dignity on their land, as well as the urgent need to take action to stop the injustice perpetrated by the Houthi militias against fishermen and farmers and their ongoing attempts to displace them and seize their lands.

For his part, Sheikh Abdul-Rahman Hajri expressed his deep gratitude for President Al-Zubaidi’s positions in support of the people of Tihama, their struggles, and standing with them to lift the injustice they are being subjected to by the terrorist Houthi militia.
