President Al-Zubaidi Gets Briefed on Security and Military Situation in Shabwah Governorate

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), was briefed on the military and security situation in Shabwah Governorate during a meeting today, Saturday, with Brigadier General Adel Ali bin Ali Hadi, Commander of the Ataq Axis and Commander of the 30th Infantry Brigade, Colonel Mohammed Al-Tausali, Commander of the Shabwah Special Forces, and Lieutenant Colonel Ali Al-Dahboul, Commander of the Emergency Forces in the governorate.

During the meeting, which was attended by members of the STC's Presidium, Mohammed Al-Ghaithi, Head of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission (CRC) in the PLC, Mr. Abdul Aziz Al-Jifri, Brigadier General Ali Ahmed Al-Jabwani, and Deputy Director of the General Authority of Land Survey and Urban Planning, Mr. Mohammed Mubarak bin Naji, President Al-Zubaidi listened to a comprehensive briefing on the progress of security work in Shabwah and the position of the military forces on the fronts with the Houthi militia in the northwest of the governorate.

President Al-Zubaidi lauded the efforts made by the security services in Shabwah in all their various formations, the mechanism of joint coordination between them to maintain the security situation, arrest outlaws and terrorist elements, and the great efforts exerted by the military forces in confronting the Houthi attacks and infiltration attempts sporadically carried out by this militia.

The President pointed out that Shabwah receives special attention commensurate with its economic weight, historical depth and unrelenting struggle, leadership presence, and important geographical location, reiterating his support for the efforts made by the people of Shabwah under the leadership of the governor of the governorate, the head of the security committee, Sheikh Awad Ben Al-Wazir, to strengthen security and stability and lead the wheel of development in the governorate.

In turn, the military and security leaders of Shabwah Governorate highly appreciated the great attention that President Al-Zubaidi pays to the security services military brigades and his unwavering support for them to properly carry out their assigned tasks, affirming that all members of the security and army will definitely remain the safety valve and loyal to the military oath they have sworn to preserve Shabwah security and stability.
